Should be disbanded, put out to pasture, dissolved. We were lucky Dick Green decided to bail . Now we have a lieutenant a Mr Mullen going off with all sorts of new plans, all wacky. Recently a Lear Jet ( a big one) had engine trouble and decided to continue to Portland (a real airport) rather than put down at Pease. I am  making a bet this was based on a decision  to land where the problem could be fixed. We currently have a FBO(fixed base operator) getting special treatment  at Pease. He claims there is not enough business( gas, repair) to allow more competitors. This is an industrial park, not an airport, the ANG (air national guard)can go it alone in my opinion. This is an airport with no future being  propped up for general aviation. They have to hire consultants to make  decisions . I suggest Mr Mullen  lay off a bit , we are not going to be hiring  him as the new Director. I don’t understand why the Governor  who wants to save money doesn’t dissolve the airport function of the PDA. The Newspaper and their reporter continue to  do puff pieces on Pease. It’s a  loser.  I want one of the candidates  running for State Office to step up  and make a case for  walking away from this mess. General Aviation  is like yachting, they can and should pay their own way. They don’t.
