You could stand on the sidelines , comment on Facebook(amidst the cute animal vids) attend the Oct 2nd Zoning Board Meeting or you could write a letter of support.

Sending an email  , in todays zip zap, wired world certainly is so easy, just as it is to dash off a few lines on  Facebook, even easier is to simply over lunch with your peers to voice ones opinion.

The letter however in an envelope, still ( any office holder would concur) holds its own in the court of public opinion. The author will  likely spend more time and effort to drive home their point, and express their inner feelings.

A love letter certainly will result in one really pulling out all the stops.

It would be most helpful if you are in support of Seacoast Family Promise to pen your own love letter and drop it off before 5pm tomorrow at the current SFP location. If you must post your letter drop it in the mail tonight or in the morning. These letters of support will be submitted to the Zoning Board prior to the Oct 2nd meeting. Do not send the letter to the Town, send it or drop it off to SFP.

This will mean your love and support will be felt and heard by the Zoning Board as it is unlikely that during the October 2nd meeting everyone will be able to speak.

Some points you might consider in your note.

What do you feel the value of SFP has been in the Seacoast area to local families with children?
Why do you personally support the SFP program?
What specific positive impressions do you have of the families and children that SFP serves?
Do you feel that SFP promotes community and how?

 It would seem  that the definition of Community is the most important consideration, for  us to ponder and reflect upon everyday.

Not just one evening in October.
