The  Village is proposing relaxing  their ordinance on  apartments in garages.  It sounds like the barn door is going to be wide open. I am going to watch this one. My neighbor has  2 tiny apartments and she is very circumspect with her tenants. If she has ever had an issue with the rules/lease, she ends it pretty quick. I bought  my house knowing all about my neighbor’s apartments. I feel bad for people that buy in a single family neighborhood to raise families then have the fundamentals change.
