Bob Moore sent me a note about an upcoming concert this Saturday night. Bob’s fine guitar work is featured in the Squamscott River Movie

He has put together a wonderful lineup. Opening is Steve Brennan  co owner of Exeter Music. Steve recently  released a fine CD including the songs ” I Know This Road”, and “I’m Not Angry  Anymore”. It includes as well some tasty covers of  Carole King, June Carter Cash and other songwriting legends. Steve will be accompanied by several guest musicians and the evening plans to be  one of good fun  and great music.

The featured  performer for  Saturday’s show is fiddler, guitarist, singer/songwriter Joyce Anderson. A very talented performer who has been performing for years  in bands as well as doing solo work. She also  joins  her husband  Harvey Reid from time to time as a duo. Joyce and Harvey performed  at the Swasey Parkway Peace Concert  in  2007. Joyce has a number of CD recordings out including “Love and Thirst” which showcases her strong writing , fiddle playing and  warm, soulful singing. A quick listen can be had on youtube below.
