Musicians, poets, autumnal color enthusiasts, supporters of the arts in mixed mediums( I know that last one was a stretch)
The next First Friday Coffeehouse will be Friday October 2 at 730pm. This month we are featuring two New Hampshire poets. The first poets is the host of the Water Street Bookstore poetry series, John Ferguson. John is a former educator and has several literary efforts published including a collection of poems, entitled “Wedding Poems” released in 2006. He has a dry sense of humor and is a big supporter of young performance poetry. Our second performer is poet, Stephen Scaer, a high school educator in Special Education at the Pelham High School. Stephen has had many poems published in formal poetry journals including The Lyric, The Formalist, and Measure. Stephen was the winner of the 2008 Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award.
The featured part of the evening will begin at 730pm. Sign up for the open- mike begins at 630pm. The open- mike portion of the evening begins at 830pm.
