PEA is holding a Women’s Forum on Sunday, Dec. 13, in the Phelps Science Center on Tan Lane. The event will examine the challenges women and girls face, including bullying, harassment and the effects of the economy.

It will feature discussions with PEA students who attended the 53rd United Nations session in the spring, and women’s and girl’s focus groups on violence, media, health, poverty, economy and institutional mechanisms. There will be video stations set up for participants to send a message to President Barack Obama, as well as to write letters.

The event will be taped and will be broadcast on Exeter’s Channel 22. The cost is $10 for high school and college students, and $30 for adults. To register, or for more information, visit women2girls
