From Bob Moore

New Year’s Evers, musicians, poets with a need to bring in the New Year with song and spoken word:

I was passing around a message that it looked doubtful we would have a January First Friday Coffeehouse. But as far as I know, the Parish Hall is open that evening and I’ve been receiving some interest to do something low-key, semi-formal, perhaps some singalongs. Needless to say, we’ve decided to hold the coffeehouse in an open-mike format, so if you’re in the mood to dance and sing, or whatever lifts your spirits, come on down on January 1 at the usual time, 7;30 PM, and we’ll go for broke. Sign-up for the coffeehouse performers begins at 6:30 PM. Hope to see all of your smiling faces with at least one New Year’s resolution. Maybe we can initiate a peaceful revolution in 2010. As Tracy Chapman sings “Talkin’ About a Revolution” sounds like a whisper.
