I hiked in a bit this morning as get this, Jeff was late! The descent was  rather steep from Mount Moosilauke.

In NH  the Appalachian Trail  follows existing trails.

I picked up Jeffrey early yesterday morning   coming off the Beaver Brook trail. We planned  an  overnight in Holderness, NH at my brothers place. It was a fun visit, then back to Lincoln NH  this am to pick up Crusher. He  spent the night at a hostel with another chum. I dropped the three of them back at the trail head. This was  the last meet up for us till Katahdin.

The intrepid trio, ready to go . Their goal was to reach the AMC  shelter early and perhaps barter work for a place to sleep. Otherwise it’s “stealth tenting”.

Only 10 miles to go  today to reach  the shelter.

Jeff  has  about 370 miles left to trudge.
