The  rate payers are going to replace all the sewer pipes in Jady Hill and install storm drains too. The people that live in that neighborhood will pay , all of them, to hook up their homes to these pipes. It will be several thousand dollars for each home. I heard  last night most homes  will be spending some dough. The option presented last night of the ratepayers extending lines to the house is off the table. The dream of home ownership  often is punctuated by a nightmare. I had B- Dri  here this year to solve the wet basement  and another outfit removed asbestos wrapped steam pipes . I had guys in space suits here in the basement.

Plastic tunnels ,like the house in ET, for a few feet of asbestos wrapped pipe.

It’s the law.

Confirmation arrived months later in the mail, real official of where the bags of waste ended up. An old coal  mine , in PA. Really, it’s your  house, your  business, let’s get this done.

The days of dumping(CSO’s) untreated sewerage in the Squamscott are over. The Squamscott  had a ton of crap in it  on Sunday from a single rain event. There is no point  in me writing a long sermon on citizenship for this story. There will be fines with teeth for those that do not comply and replace their sewer  line to the street.  Please disconnect sump pumps from the sanitary line. If you are doing this anywhere in Town , please stop . You should devise and  finance  another solution.
