Wild  Maple

From Bob Moore

Folk and blues musicians, Americana enthusiasts, troubadours with a longing for a song that plays in your head for a week or more and tugs at your heart:

We have a wonderful duo, Wild Maple, coming to the Parish Hall tomorrow evening. Wild Maple features Trish DeCaprio on fiddle and vocals, and Gary Dolinsky on guitar, octave mandola, and vocals. Tomorrow’s performance also includes guest percussionist, Roger Ebacher. Wild Maple has a cool sound, very Americana, harmonies, an acoustic string band sound. The music takes you through many time warps to visit tunes you may have heard this year, or may not have heard for 5 years or more. They pull stuff out that sounds terrific, and makes you feel like your alive and well and living in the place you heard the song for the first time. If you can make it down, be sure to spread the word, and bring a friend or family member. You’re in for a treat!

The duo’s repertoire includes a mix of traditional Americana, Celtic songs, as well as covers of contemporary roots influenced singer-songwriters. Guest percussionist Roger Ebacher will be joining Wild Maple for this performance.

Wild Maple goes on at 7:30 PM.
