We were enjoying this vista in a National Park  when Jeffrey  got a surprise.

A fellow Appalachian Trail veteran(2010) and his Dad came up the trail behind us. They hail from Mississippi.

This was the last time they saw each other, at Katahdin in Maine

A really spectacular place for  lunch.
