Election day

I can’t wait for it to come, like any other reasonable person who has had to endure this constant haranguing these many months. Already there are stories forecasting trouble at the polls. Who is behind these stories really? Don’t get played, stop reading anonymous posts on Patch or any web site. If some guy or gal can’t put their own name to their words, they don’t mean anything.

I hope everyone who visited with Dick Morris the other night on the Seacoast took a shower afterwards.

  1. I had a comment when I returned from the hair salon and grocery store with my Aunt just now.The anonymous( I can see you) commenter wondered whether one should “listen ” to those who do in fact use their real names. He missed my point. Casting off the shroud( don’t you feel like a ghost, a dead person, trapped in some nether world?) of anonymity should serve to have you engage self moderation. You might even take the time, since what you have to say is important, to you, to check your emotions, and your spelling. You might actually care what your neighbors think of your opinions, maybe even your employer would be interested in your views. You might do some research on the subject and form an opinion based upon some reading and weighing of established opinion or science. You might contribute in a positive sense, even while being negative to moving this great enterprise of life and living forward
Here is a great quote from Donald Rumsfeld
“ [T]here are known knowns; there are things we know that we know.
There are known unknowns; that is to say there are things that, we now know we don’t know.
But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don’t know. ”

—United States Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld
