A Red Tailed Hawk enjoyed that rabbit I snapped earlier this week, who really was on the menu given this persistent snow cover and it’s brown coat. Dave OHearn sent me a photo taken while using the snowshoe trail out back with his dogs.
A red blush on the snow, some fur, and talon prints.
