I have been moving plants this week. A load of hostas that were shaded by a large tree.

It fell over in a blow just before we purchased the place.

Last year they were incinerated.

We have a sunny lot and I have few shady spots.

So next week Doozie is offering her book club to take some home.

I’ll pot up a bunch so it’s easy.

Watering with a can or bucket is better than the hose or sprinkler.

Don’t cut your lawn once the heat bears down.

A water barrel is not a bad idea either

Plumb it into one of you gutter drains
