All the appliances that came with the house were at end of life.

Dryer still ticking though we use a clothes line when it’s not raining.

I changed the belt on the dryer recently.

My bet is the water heater will be next.

Just looking at serial numbers.

Update

It leaked on the first cycle.

From the drain hose coupling to the machine.

I was going to fix it myself but Doozie asked me to call them instead.

Another 2 gents arrived and put things right.

The first delivery team used a power drill to close the band clamp and crushed the outlet tube giving the draining water a path.

To the floor.

So this fellow rounded that back to somewhat normal and reattached the hose.

All good.

If I had messed with it then maybe finger pointing might have begun.

All fixed.

Never use a drill.

Just a screwdriver.
