there were many stories being written about the elderly driver. NPR had a few table talks about it.

We faced it as a family and failed miserably.
My parents lived right here in Falmouth too.
We suggested a taxi fund.
No go.
My son Jeff is still driving their last car.
A Nissan Sentra.
I see plenty here and about and it’s not good at all.
So a check ride is my suggestion. Next time you visit ask them to drive you someplace tricky.
There is a little bit of “ getting away with it” as the driver knows their skills have diminished.
The consequences of an accident might be discussed too.
So I expect this “ problem” to rear its head again soon. It’s one of those tales we recycle.
