On the face of it this story is about police.
Not children.
I am not a proponent of SRO’s.
Want me to post all the bad news stories about that program ?
I can dredge up many off the top of my head.
Not surprised though as we don’t care about children in America.
Our school buildings across the land are in disrepair many just decrepit.
We better get going on ac for every school fast.
We better start educating and training and paying the new teachers.
That we must find and support on their journey to this vital position in society.
You don’t think parents can do it do you?
During the height of Covid we read story after story of mayhem at home.
Supposedly test scores dropped in many areas.
Parents didn’t step up .
Didn’t even read to their children.
Selfish.
There were tales of couples forced to work at home at each other’s throats.
Bet the kids fared well in those homes.
The entire affair was bungled and we got way off track on a host of fronts.
We are not preparing for the Winter.
I can feel it.
I am shaking my head daily on the things I see and read.
Spray painting the storm windows this morning.
Hope it’s calm.
