Good advice. Bad information. 3 rivers are running greater than 2000 fps. Merrimack, Connecticut and Androscoggin, and all 3 usually do. Most rivers are greater than average flow, but not 10x. C’mon check those facts.

Geez, I can’t even employ a fear factor! Ok , bring a flow meter if you go. Wear a life preserver. Better yet, wait till the dog days of August.
