Don’t turn your back

You know what it says to me? VOTE YES ON #13. This project was as thoroughly planned and as thoroughly presented as any other project on the ballot (maybe even more so). The questions that people are asking are ones where answers are not yet known. We only get to do this once a year. If we waited for every project to be completely designed, engineered and shovel ready we would be even further behind in our infrastructure. The information contained on the warrant article information sheet posted on the Town website should be enough for people to make an informed decision. The rest needs to be placed into the hands of those we have entrusted to lead this community. That’s how it works. On this project and on many other projects and situations. It’s easy to throw stones. I’ve been getting hit with quite a few lately. I have a feeling that once one or two of the people running switch their title from “candidate” to “selectman” they may have some eye opening experiences. I will wait for the day when they realize that it all isn’t as easy as they are making it out to be – I know I had that day in my first year.
