First Friday Coffeehouse Exeter NH

I don’t know if Glenn Roth will be packing this unusual instrument for his performance on Friday. I was casting about for a video to highlight this guitar virtuoso and his talents and this one fit fine.

Here is the latest from Bob Moore concerning this terrific local event.

Musicians, guitarists, poets, dreamers, movie enthusiasts that have seen the film “August Rush” at least three times:

I hope the birds in the morning are lifting your spirits, and getting you enthused about planting a garden, or going for long walks. We have a special featured artist stopping by this Friday who hails from Norwalk, CT. He contacted me a few months back, shared some of his music, and his sound was terrific to hear. Glenn Roth plays high-energy acoustic finger-style guitar originals, with influences ranging from Tommy Emmanuel to Tool. Based in Connecticut, Glenn tours regularly throughout the northeast and beyond. Glenn has won fans worldwide through his touring, YouTube videos, and busking in the New York City subway system as a licensed performer in the Music Under New York program. He has been hailed as “A gifted player on the rise…” (20th Century Guitar), with “delicate, accomplished solo acoustic guitar work” (Play, New Haven).

We’re excited to have him visit The First Friday Coffeehouse. Come on down, bring a friend, and we’ll see you then.

“The music is all around us, all you have to do is listen.” ~ August Rush
