I had a juvenile Eastern Cottontail run right in front of me on the Swasey Parkway this morning. This rabbit once very numerous is now being reintroduced by Wildlife Officials in NH. I have not see one in many years in my yard which borders a nice wooded area. I understand that this cottontail requires a very special habitat, which is rather open relative to trees.
