This may be the last show for the maple. It has some real weakness now after a major cleaving last Winter. It also has one of those holes you see from time to time in trunks, clean through. The gray squirrels swirl through the hole all Winter in mad pursuit of each other. You can hear that skritching sound of their claws on bark inside the house.
