A note from Bob Moore,
Hi musicians, poets, folks that may be a little over-radiated and recovering from the latest solar flare activity:
As some of you know, we had a fine evening of poetry and music in January. It was a good feeling trading various art forms with one another as often happens, and having John Simon finish off the evening as he does with some memorable poems about personal pain, unrequited love, joy, and the myriad of chronic dilemmas that love has to offer (if and when we dare to walk through the door). We’re set to do it again this Friday. As a special treat, we’re bringing back Exeter Music owner, and baritone singer/songwriter/guitarist Steve Brennan. Steve has entertained us before in several genres including a duo performance with his co-owner guitarist Rich Bowles. He’s also appeared with an a two-women, two-men a capella group performing familiar songs including The Beatles and Billy Joel in rich four-part harmony. This time around, Steve will be playing solo, and playing songs from his latest CD, A Feeling like That, on 6 and 12-string guitar. Steve has a wry sense of humor, and shares his daily toils and adventures without reservation. Come on down and check him out. For more information about Steve’s music, please visit:
We’ll see you this Friday…
