No one gets hit, watch the person pushing a cart across the intersection @ 1:11. A bike and another pedestrian run interference or they are using the cart themselves to cross against traffic.

I’ll bet a fellow citizen in Viet Nam would look at you like you were an idiot if you actually did hit someone . A lesson perhaps for commuters on the Little Bay bridge every morning?
On a side note, I watched a Charlie Rose interview some time ago with Lee Kuan Yew, former Prime Minister of Singapore and author of From Third World to First : The Singapore Story: 1965-2000.
It was fascinating.
Rose asked him about the possibility of a trade pact between China and Viet Nam.
“It will never happen ” he replied.
A pact would kill the domestic motorcycle/scooter industry, in Viet Nam.
