#3 The Exeter River below the Pickpocket dam always flows even in the dog days of Summer. Groundwater as well as other streams are significant contributors. Today at the River Study Meeting the Chairman again mentioned continuing concerns with wells. It triggered some angst for sure, as it is not true. Oh one could worry , but there is no need, unless you prefer leading a fretful life. Dam removal will not have any effect on wells.
