The operation to remove snow that has accumulated over the last few weeks was to have begun last night. The storm however made contractors scarce so it has been rescheduled. The areas to be addressed are the main business district and the Lincoln Street area.

It is a shame that it took two weeks, and three snowstorms to mobilize and address this problem. Parking for downtown merchants at Valentines day was a nightmare, and just driving through in the area of Swasey Parkway was downright dangerous
